KOHO
Köhler & Hörter reciprocating compressors
In 1948, August Hörter and Alfred Köhler founded Köhler & Hörter in Hagen. Today, Köhler & Hörter GmbH is a family-owned business operating in its third generation.
The company specializes in the manufacture of custom compressors and provides tailored solutions to meet the specific requirements of its customers. Köhler & Hörter designs compressors for special applications, producing them in small batches with very short delivery times.
The product range includes, among other things, process gas reciprocating compressors, plant engineering with third-party compressors, unit construction, as well as the refurbishment and overhaul of reciprocating compressors.
KOHO compressors are particularly known for their adaptable and long-lasting construction. This makes them an excellent choice when upgrading production facilities after a long operating period, as the compressor system can easily be adjusted to new conditions. KOHO‘s modular technology ensures that efficiency is maintained or even improved.
For decades, KOHO compressors have met customer requirements in continuous operation worldwide across many different applications, including the chemical and petrochemical industries, pharmaceutical applications, nuclear energy, as well as gas decanting, distribution, recovery, and liquefaction processes.
