Magnesium hydroxide

Magnesium hydroxide, Mg(OH)2, is a mineral used in pulp production that can achieve significant benefits in both mechanical and chemical pulp bleaching. In mechanical pulp production, it can replace silicate and caustic soda and in chemical pulp production, the product protects the fibre in the oxidative stages and can replace magnesium sulphate.
