Meidinger AG

Meidinger AG fans

The history of the Swiss fan manufacturer Meidinger dates back to 1900, when Dipl. Ing. Georg Meidinger founded the company for the production of electric motors, among other things. Nearly a century later, in 1997, Meidinger became part of the German Witt & Sohn AG group.

Meidinger offers a wide range of customized fan solutions for the transfer of technical gases, contaminated exhaust air, dust, explosion-prone gases and vapors (ATEX), as well as hot flue gases.

The company’s headquarters is located in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland (Aargau), in the heart of Europe near the borders of France and Germany, where they manufacture small special blowers in approximately 3,000 square meters of production facilities.

Key production steps for quality, such as the manufacture of impellers, are carried out in-house. Flexible production equipment, such as precise laser cutting for different types of steel, enables quick responses to customer needs. The smooth and trouble-free operation of the blowers is ensured through precise static and dynamic balancing. A test station according to the ISO 5801 standard allows for performance measurements and characteristic curve recording.

Meidinger’s product range is complemented by various customized services, such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, modifications, and repairs.
